Assam final NRC draft: Nearly 40 lakh citizens 'outsiders', 2,89,83,677 'eligible' residents

Assam released the final draft of National Register of Citizens (NRC) on Monday declaring over 40 lakh citizens 'outsiders'. According to the NRC list, 2 crore 89 lakh 83 thousand 677 were found found 'eligible' in final NRC draft among total applicants of 3 crore 29 lakh 91 thousand and 384.
