Delhi: Old Yamuna bridge temporarily closed after water level crosses danger mark

The Old Yamuna bridge or ‘Loha Pul’ has been temporarily closed for rail traffic with the water level in the river continuing to rise due to heavy rains. The Indian Railways confirmed on Monday that the water level rose to 205.53 mark. At least 27 passenger trains have been cancelled, while 7 trains have been diverted following the closure of the Yamuna bridge.
