Meghalaya mine collapse: Joint operation to rescue trapped labourers hits dead end as Navy, NDRF divers fail to reach pit's bottom

The multi-agency operation launched on Sunday to rescue the 15 miners trapped in the 370-foot-deep-coal mine failed to yield much results as the divers from the Indian Navy and the NDRF could not reach the bottom of the pit, officials said.
