Bihar floods: Death toll rises to 29, more rains likely in next 24 hours

At least 29 people were dead as heavy rains continued to batter Bihar for the fourth consecutive day on Monday. Till Sunday, nearly 18 deaths were reported due to different rain-related incidents in the state. Meanwhile, the state capital continued to be among the worst affected, some of its parts submerged in water levels rising up to the chest and its residents being rescued with the help of municipal cranes normally used for moving earth.
