It took 7 years, 3 months and four days for Nirbhaya to get justice. The sensational gangrape and murder case had sent shockwaves in India in 2012. The four convicts -- Mukesh, Pawan, Akshay and Vinay -- were hanged to death at 5.30 am on Friday. Huge crowds gathered outside Tihar jail to pay their tributes to Nirbhaya, the physiotherapy student who was gang-raped and brutally assaulted by six men in a bus on December 16, 2012.
