Schools and colleges in the New York state have announced that they are suspending classes, as the number of coronavirus cases jumped to more than 100 and a state of emergency has been declared over the novel Coronavirus outbreak. The number of coronavirus cases in the New York state jumped on Sunday to 106, forcing the closure of classes at Columbia University and other schools across the state.
