Paramilitary forces report 1st COVID-19 cases: BSF officer, CISF jawan test coronavirus positive

A Border Security Force (BSF) officer and Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) jawan tested positive for novel coronavirus on Saturday, first cases of the highly contagious infection in the paramilitary forces, officials said. The 57-year-old BSF officer is posted at the forces' officers training academy in Takenpur area of Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh. Officials said he is suspected to have been infected from a family member who recently returned from the United Kingdom.
