Coronavirus in Maharashtra: Mumbai remains to be worst-affected by the coronavirus in Maharashtra - that has emerged as the epicentre of the coronavirus pandemic in India with nearly 1,400 cases and 97 deaths. In Mumbai itself, the number of positive cases has risen to 876. Therefore, in an attempt to mitigate the spread of the coronavirus, the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) has identified over 381 ‘containment zones or no go zones’ across the city with the help of Mumbai Police.
