India coronavirus cases cross 5,000-mark; Maharashtra, TN, Delhi emerge as hotspot. Check state-wise tally

With around 400 new cases reported, COVID-19 cases in India crossed 5,000-mark on Wednesday morning, according to Health Ministry data.  The total cases have doubled in the past five days, while 25 people succumbed to the infection, taking the death toll to end the day at 149, as per the latest data.
