The total number of COVID-19 cases in Himachal Pradesh surged to 291 after nine more people tested positive for the novel coronavirus, officials said on Friday. Out of the fresh cases, five were reported from Hamirpur and four from Kangra, they said, adding that all of them had recently returned from other states.
