Congress leader Navjot Singh Sidhu on Wednesday tendered an apology for allegedly hurting the sentiments of the Sikh community. Sidhu was asked to tender an apology by Akal Takht Jathedar after Sidhu wore a shawl bearing some religious symbols. Sidhu said he is apologising for unknowingly hurting the sentiments of Sikhs.
