Novovax's Covid vaccine gets emergency use authorization for adolescents aged 12-18 yrs in India

Novovax's Covid vaccine, also known as NVX-CoV2373 got its first emergency use authorization to be administered to adolescents aged 12 to 18 in India. Novovax made the announcement on Tuesday and said that the vaccine is manufactured and marketed in India by the Serum Institute of India (SII) under the brand name Covovax and is the first protein-based vaccine authorized for use in this age group in India.
