G RAM G Bill, replacing MGNREGA, gets President Droupadi Murmu's nod, becomes law

President Droupadi Murmu has given her assent to the VB-G RAM G Bill, 2025, the Ministry of Rural Development said on Sunday, formally clearing the way for the implementation of the new rural employment framework that replaces the Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act (MGNREGA).
