Jet fuel prices more than doubled to Rs 2 lakh per kl for first time: How will it impact travellers?

India's aviation turbine fuel cost soared to an unprecedented high after oil prices spiked globally due to escalating tensions in West Asia. The price of ATF in Delhi jumped sharply to Rs 2.07 lakh per kilolitre after state-run fuel companies raised rates by 114.5 per cent. This massive hike of Rs 110,703.08 per kilolitre marks the first time the ATF rate has crossed the Rs 2 lakh threshold.
