Abhinandan Varthaman, pilot who shot down F-16, crashed in Pakistan, quits Indian Air Force to join airline

Former Indian Air Force Group Captain and Vir Chakra awardee Abhinandan Varthaman has joined Goa-based regional airline FLY91 as a pilot. Sources told PTI that Varthaman joined the airline in August. However, further details about his role and responsibilities could not immediately be ascertained.
